About

Therapy is my second career.

My first was 15 years of building communities and running events, including my own company. Behind every put-together person I worked with, there was usually someone working pretty hard to stay afloat. The conversations that mattered most were never about logistics.

Why I switched

The one-on-one moments were always my favorite part.

Producing a conference for thousands of people or coaching a family through a new way of eating, the part I loved was the moment someone stopped performing and told me what was actually going on. So I went back to school to do that properly.

I earned my Master of Social Work at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. My clinical training was in community care coordination and court-based services, which taught me a lot about meeting people in genuinely hard circumstances. I'm now a Licensed Master Social Worker and see clients through Sol Health.

I'm also a mom, so I know life rarely runs to schedule and a good week can fall apart by Wednesday.

What that means in a session

Years of running live events made me hard to rattle and quick to get to what's actually going on. Coaching families on food taught me that change has to fit real life to stick. And I take work, money, family and health seriously as part of the picture, because I've had to juggle them too.
